Development of a Private-Public Dialogue Policy and Framework

KEPSA has been tasked by the Ministry of Devolution and planning to formulate a Public-Private Dialogue Policy and Framework for Kenya to institutionalize PPDs and enhance participation of private sector in policy formulation and implementation processes in Kenya. The ultimate objective is to enhance policy dialogue and strengthen private sector contribution to the economy.

Although consultation in policy formulation & implementation is a requirement in the Kenya Constitution, there is need to come up with a consultation framework grounded on policy, which is comprehensive and all inclusive at the national and county Government level.

The CEO Kenya Flower Council, Mrs. Jane Ngige has been nominated to sit in the steering committee spearheading this initiative.
