Red Lands Roses colours the Africa week at UNESCO

Red Lands Roses, a member of the Kenya Flower Council donated flowers which were distributed to the guests who attended the opening ceremony of the Africa week at UNESCO held on May 26, 2014. Permanent Delegation of Kenya to UNESCO thanked the farm for making the event colourful through the beautiful flowers.

Over the last few years and on an annual basis, the African Group at UNESCO celebrates African week at the Organization’s headquarters, an opportunity to celebrate Africa’s richness/beauty through exhibitions, discussions and screenings of works on the theme of “Education and Science for agriculture in Africa”.

This Africa week, which took place from the 26th to the 28th of May 2014, with an aim of not only to shed some light on challenges bound to the African continent, but also to show the wealth of Africa through numerous activities. Singers, dancers, painters, designers and models from all Africa participated to highlight the rich continent of Africa with its diversity, cultural and artistic heritage.
